The person who visit foreign countries are called tourists. Mostly tourist like to visit natural and amazing things of different places. Our Nepal is also rich in natural beauties, gifts, resources and wonders. There are many religious, cultural, traditional and historical places in Nepal which helps to attract tourists.

Nowadays tourism industry is being very important in Nepal. Nepal is comfortable and suitable place for tourism industry. The nature has given many things to Nepal which are liked by tourists. Some tourist come here to enjoy the natural beauties and wonders. Some of them visit Nepal for trekking and climbing mountains. Some tourists visit our country Nepal to learn some thing about culture, religions, history, tradition and so on. We can see that some tourists came in our country to enjoy their vacations or holidays.

There are many religious and historical places in our country Nepal. Some of them are Pashupatinath temple, Lumbini, Ram janaki mandir, Mt. Everest, Manakamana, Pokhara, Krishna mandir of Patan, Chitwan national park, Boudhanath, Swyambhunath etc.

We can get many advantages from the tourists. We can earn foreign currency which can be used for the development of nation. Many people can get employment in the offices which are related to tourism industry. Thus it helps to decrease the problems of unemployment. Tourists buy our  good, curios, and native articles of our country which helps to develop cottage industry of the country or nation. Tourism helps to develop hotel industry. Most of the tourist wants to live in good hotels. Many expensive and good hotels are providing services to the tourists and earning more money. Similarly many tourist guides are employed in it.

We can learn their languages, culture, and traditions from the tourists. They also learn many things from us. When they observed our country  then they tell about our country to others which helps to make our country Nepal famous. When they observed our good culture, traditions, and things , they expose them in their country.

There are also few disadvantages of tourism. Some of the communicable diseases can be spread by tourists; it is the worst impact. Because of the tourists, some of the beauty places of our country Nepal is being polluted. We can see many bottles, plastic bags, and solid wastes even at the peck of the mountains. Some of the tourists can be criminal. They can do crimes here.

There are some problems in the fields of tourism in Nepal. Most of the beauty places of our country is in remote areas where there is lack of roads. We have to depend on air services only. Similarly the problems of security reduce the number of tourists. There are not standard hotels and lodge in remote areas. So the tourist don’t like to live there and visit that places.

We should try to promote tourisms sector by providing all the facilities to the tourists. All the respective sectors give high priority to promote it. The government should provide transportations facility and security to the tourists. Then the more and more tourists attracts here. From that we can earn more foreign currency and develop nation.
