Migration is also considered as an important factor of population change. Justify
The increase or the decrease in the population
size of a particular place is called population change. There are many factors
of population change. Some of them are birth, death , Marriage , Migration etc.
Among them migration is considered as an important factor of population change.
The movement of people from one place to
another place is called migration. It affects the population of both places. It
increases as wells as decrease the population size of a particular place. The
population of the will decrease from where people are migrating and the
population of the place will increase where people are going to migrate. For
example if some people are migrating from Chitwan to Kathmandu then the
population of Chitwan will decrease and the population of Kathmandu will
increase.
So we can say that migration is also considered
as an important factor of population change.
Religious norms and values is helping to increase population. Justify the statement.
We all are living in a society and following
the some norms and values which are related to our religion called religious
norms and values. Some religious norms and values are helping in population
growth by giving importance on early marriage, Gender discrimination, etc.
In our society people are believing that if
they will marriage their son and daughter in early age they will get chance to
go in heaven after death and their practices leads toward the high birth rate
which cause rapid population growth. Similarly they believe that son will make
the parents future bright and help them to go in heaven after death so in the
hope of giving birth to the son they are giving birth to the many daughter. They believe that using
the birth spacing, family planning are against the law of god and if will they
use family planning and birth spacing
they will be punished by the god. And all these factors are helping to increase
population.
So we can say that religious norms and values
is helping to increase population.
Poverty and backwardness are also considered as the cause of rapid population growth. Why?
In our country poverty and backwardness is one
of the major social problems and important factors of population growth. Due to
poverty and backwardness people are very far from education. Due to that they
are blindly believing on superstition believes.
They are believing that giving birth large
number of children make their parents future bright and good sources of income.
So the people are giving birth to the large number of children. It is difficult
to the parents to give them proper education and fulfill their basic needs and
demand. Parents have lode of more responsibility and to get free from that
responsibilities they are marring their son and daughter in early age and their
practices leads toward the high birth rate which causes rapid population
growth. People are believing on this superstition believe due to lack of proper
education which is caused by the poverty and backwardness.
So we can say that poverty and
backwardness are also considered as the causes of rapid population change.
Population management is essential for development.
The proper distribution of people according to the natural resources is called population management. The process of bringing positive changes in environment or in any sector is called development.
Population management is essential for development because due to unmanaged population people are facing so many problems such as poverty, unemployment, scarcity of food, scarcity of education, scarcity of health services, scarcity of food and housing etc. When people are facing like this problems they cannot participate in any developmental activities and there is no chances of development. But when population is managed then people will not face like these problems and they will easily participate in developmental works and there is possibility of sustainable development.
So, We can say that population management are essential for development.
Gender equality helps in population management. Justify this statement.
Giving equal priority to son and daughter is called gender equality. Yes, i agree with this statements that gender equality helps in population management.
If there is mutual understanding between husband and wife then they can make the decision to give birth to number of child. They will not discriminate between son and daughter. In the hope of giving birth to the a single son they will not give birth to many daughter. And it will decrease the high birth rate which helps in population management.
So, we can say gender equality helps in population management.
