About Nepal

Nepal is a small but very beautiful country. It lies in Asia continent between two countries. It lies between India from east , west and south and china from North. It is surrounded by land from all sides so it is also known landlocked country. Its total area is 147,181 square Kilometer It is divided three geographical regions. They are Hilly region, Himalayan Region and Terai region. It has seven provience and 77 districts. The capital city of Nepal is Kathmandu. According to the census of 2011 AD the population of Nepal is 2,6,494,504
There are many naturals heritages, mountains, river , lakes, ponds, glaciers etc in Nepal.Some religious places of Nepal. are Pashupatinath Temple, Muktinath temple, Boudhanath stupa, Swyambhunath stupa, Ramjanaki temple, Lumbini etc.The biggest rivers of Nepal is Koshi river. The largest river of Nepal is Karnali river. The deepest river of Nepal is Narayani river. The biggest lake of Nepal is Rara lake. The highest lake of Nepal is Tilicho lake. The biggest glacier of Nepal is Khumbu glacier. The longest glacier of Nepal is Lantang glacier. The longest highway of Nepal is Mahendra highway. The oldest highway of Nepal is Tribhuvan highway. 1) Mt.Everest

It in lies in the highest mountains of Nepal as well as the world. It lies in solukhumbu district of Nepal. Its height is 8848 meter. It is the most tourist destination of Nepal. Its Nepali name is Sagarmatha

2) Mt. Kanchanjunga

It lies in taplejung District of Nepal. Its height is 8586 meter.

3) Lhotse
Lhotse is the third highest mountains of Nepal and forth highest mountain of the world. Its height is 8516meter. It lies in khumbu district of Nepal.

4) Makalu

It is the forth highest mountains of Nepal. It lies in Sankhuwasabha district of Nepal. Its height is 8463 meter.

5)Chooyu

It is the fifth highest mountain of Nepal. It lies in solukhumbu district of Nepal. Its height is 8201 meter.

6)Dhaulagiri

It is the sixth highest mountain of Nepal. It lies in Myagdi district of Nepal. Its height is 8167 meter.

7)Manaslu
It is the seventh highest mountain of Nepal. It lies in Gorkha district of Nepal. It height is 8163 meter.
 
 8) Annapurna
It is the eighth highest mountain of the world. It lies in Kaski district of Nepal is 8091 meter.
